The Ruby Theatre presents “Alpha” (PG-13) Sep 21-25. Showtimes are 7 pm Fri, Sat, Mon and Tues, 3 pm Sat and Sunday. After a hunting expedition goes awry, a young caveman struggles against the elements to find his way home, and encounters a wolf. This survivalist pre-historic epic, according to Rolling Stone, “is a movie devoted to overwhelming viewers with vast, lush vistas of craggy cliffs, lightning-split skylines, endless snowy tundras, impossibly green forests and eye-popping auroras. Sweeping does not begin to describe the visuals here.”

Coming Next: “Leave No Trace” and “A Simple Favor”.

On Saturday Oct 6 from 10 AM-1 PM make memories with your grandchildren at The Ruby Theatre. Admission is free for grandfathers and their grandchildren. “Every child deserves to know, learn from, and be loved by their grandpa, and have a grandpa experience.” That’s the belief that Rod Brooks, Founding Grandpa of The Grandpa Project is on a mission to create and inspire. Join us for fun activities and the film “Paper Planes” (G), an inspiring story about a boy, the art of paper planes, and a national paper plane competition.

See you at the Ruby!
