The Day After Tomorrow (2004 – PG-13) Jack Hall, paleoclimatologist, must make a daring trek from Washington, D.C. to New York City to reach his son, trapped in the cross-hairs of a sudden international storm which plunges the planet into a new Ice Age. Stars Dennis Quaid, Jake Gyllenhaal.

The Mountain Between Us (2017- R)  Idris Elba and Kate Winslet as a surgeon and a journalist, respectively, who survive a plane crash, with a dog, and are stranded in the High Uintas Wilderness with injuries and harsh weather conditions

Out in the snow, a man lies face down in a pool of blood, presumably his own. A vehicle can be seen in the distance flipped upside down. Above the man, the words "Fargo" and "a homespun murder story" can be seen in red font.

Fargo ( 1996- R) Jerry Lundegaard’s inept crime falls apart due to his and his henchmen’s bungling and the persistent police work of the quite pregnant Marge Gunderson. Classic film by the Coen brothers. An Oscar for Frances McDormand.

Frozen ( 2018- PG) This Disney classic will have you singing along too. Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale “The Snow Queen”, the film depicts a princess who sets off on a journey alongside an iceman, his reindeer, and a snowman to find her estranged sister, whose icy powers have inadvertently trapped their kingdom in eternal winter.
