It’s time for an Adventure!

As we begin to slowly move forward with phases and re-openings, we can’t help but to get out and explore some uncharted territory! Whether it’s a day trip to the beach or a month long excursion, what better way to make memories with your loved ones than to get out and explore the open road?

Need a little inspiration. Or maybe a reminder on all the beauty that is outside of your home? Or even a nostalgic memory of your chaotic but love-filled adventures with family as a child. We’ve created a movie list for that!

Below are some of the best films to watch to get you ready to hit the trails. Adventure awaits!

1.The Great Outdoors (1988)

In this John Candy classic, a Chicago man’s hope for a peaceful family vacation in the woods is shattered when the annoying in-laws drop in. Available on Prime Video.

2.Heavy Weights (1995)

Plump kids are lured into joining a posh fat camp with the promise of quick weight loss and good times, only to find that the facility is a woodland hellhole run by a psycho ex-fitness instructor. Available on Prime Video!

3. The Call of the Wild (2020)

The Call of the Wild is a 2020 American adventure film based on the Jack London 1903 novel of the same name and on Twentieth Century Pictures’ 1935 film adaptation. Available on Prime Video!

 

4. Almost Famous (2000)

A high-school boy is given the chance to write a story for Rolling Stone Magazine about an up-and-coming rock band as he accompanies them on their concert tour. Available on Direct TV!

 

5. Thelma and Louise (1991)

Two best friends set out on an adventure, but it soon turns around to a terrifying escape from being hunted by the police, as these two girls escape for the crimes they committed. Available on Hulu!
