The Ruby Theatre celebrates all our local individuals, groups, schools, organizations and businesses that promote kindness and compassion year round, and especially during this time of challenges and change. For example, did you know that since the pandemic began Tender Loving Care for Seniors volunteers have been phoning and using facetime ( rather than home visits) to connect local seniors to friends and services? Thrive Chelan Valley has been providing food, supplies and other services to children; Chelan Valley Hope and the Chelan Food Bank has been serving an increasing number of people in need? And local businesses have been donating meals? Bet you know even more acts of kindness going on in Chelan Valley! With a sincere thanks to all our local kind “heroes”, we want to share a list of films that tell stories about kindness.
