Honey, I Shrunk the Kids – 1989- PG- The scientist father of a teenage girl and boy accidentally shrinks his and two other neighborhood teens to the size of insects. Now the teens must fight diminutive dangers as the father searches for them.

The Pursuit of Happyness– 2006- PG-13- In this heartstring-puller,  Jaden Smith starred alongside his father Will Smith, who plays down-on-his-luck salesman Chris Gardner. One bad thing happens after another and he’s left to take care of their five-year-old after his wife leaves him, even as they’re forced to stay in homeless shelters. Through all the hardships, Chris remains a loving dad to his son, and the ending is sure to make you cry.
