Kung Fu Panda 4 and free “Ruby U” presentation

The Ruby presents: “Kung Fu Panda 4” (PG) from March 29 – April 2nd and April 5- 12 at 7 pm Fri, Sat, Mon and Tues and 3 pm Sat and Sunday. Po is gearing up to become the spiritual leader of his Valley of Peace, but also needs someone to take his place as Dragon Warrior. As such, he will train a new kung fu practitioner for the spot and will encounter a villain called the Chameleon who conjures villains from the past. With the voices of Jack Black, Awkwafina, Viola Davis, Brian Cranston, Ke Huy Quan, and Dustin Hoffman. Kung Fu Panda 4 will be running for two weeks.  We hope to see you!

Ruby U:  The Ruby Theatre is proud to announce a new series of public presentations, panels, and discussions of community interest in the Chelan Valley. The speaker series, “Ruby U”, is designed to inform, educate and challenge the understanding of ourselves, our community, and our valley now and into the future. All presentations are free to the public.

Thursday April 11, 2024 at 7 pm, Ruby U presents “Black Bears at Lake Chelan“.  Rich Beausoleil, Bear and Cougar Specialist, Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife will discuss black bear ecology learned from a ten-year research project in the North Cascades that finished in 2023; provide an update on orphaned bear cubs from the Twenty-Five Mile fire; give an update on the chronic and increasing human-black bear conflict at Lake Chelan; discuss how WDFW has used Karelian Bear Dogs at Lake Chelan; and give tips on what Lake Chelan residents can do to co-exist with bears and become a BearWise community. Join us for this exciting free presentation!

Seeking Show Supervisor: 12-15 hours a week, including some weekend and evening hours. Salary $17-$20/hour depending on experience. We are looking for an energetic person who can carry up to 25 lbs and navigate stairs.
