The Ruby presents:  Based on the true story of an extraordinary friendship. “My Penguin Friend” (PG) Aug 30th- Sept 3rd at 7 pm Fri, Sat, Mon, and Tues, and 3 pm Saturday and Sunday. We are back to our regular schedule and will be closed Wed and Thurs. After being rescued from an oil spill a little lost penguin transforms the life and soul of a heartbroken fisherman. The penguin and the fisherman become unlikely friends, so bonded that even the vast ocean cannot divide them.

Ruby U: Thursday Sept 26 at 7 to 8:30 pm. Free Admission. The national nonprofit organization Braver Angels will present: “Navigating Difficult Conversations“. Do you have people in your life you can’t talk to any more?  Are you worried about the civic health of our country?  Come learn about Braver Angels and how they are working to depolarize America.  Learn skills to look at your own polarization and start to develop strategies for having difficult conversations with people you disagree with.
