The Ruby presents: “White Bird,” starring Helen Mirren (PG-13) Nov 1st-5th at 7 pm Fri, Sat, Mon and Tues and 3 pm Sat and Sunday. After being expelled from Beecher Prep for his treatment of a classmate with a facial deformity, Julian has struggled to fit in at his new school. To transform his life, Julian’s grandmother finally reveals her own story of courage of her youth in Nazi-occupied France, where a classmate shelters her from mortal danger.

Halloween Movie Shorts from 5 to 6 PM on Friday November 1. Join us for a fun hour or so of classic Halloween short (and funny) films from 1922 to 1953.  And our celebrated photoplayer, Valentina will accompany a short silent film.
