Ruby U: “Fish War” on Thursday March 20, 2025 at 7 – 8:30 PM. Mark your calendars when the next Ruby U will present a short film and discussion led by Mary Big Bull Lewis, representing the Indigenous Roots and Reparations Foundation of Wenatchee. This locally produced activism documentary film tells how a conservative federal judge in 1974 upheld Indigenous fishing rights in Washington, ending violent clashes with law enforcement and laying the foundation for environmental stewardship.
