“Scenic Art for Washington Theatres” on Thursday April 25 at 7 pm by Wendy Rae Waszut-Barrett, PhD, an author, artist, and historian, specializing in painted illusions created for nineteenth-century and twentieth-century popular entertainment.
Wendy’s presentation will be about the people and the art behind the historic theatre curtains and scenery of the northwest. She will demonstrate why it is important that these stories and artifacts are saved for future generations.
“Nick on the Rocks” on Thursday, May 23 at 7 pm Nick Zentner, popular presenter of PBS show “Nick on the Rocks” will be here to delight us with his take on the geological wonders of our region.
