The Ruby presents: an incredible true story of heroism, “One Life” (PG) April 26-30 at 7 pm Fri, Sat, Mon and Tues and 1 pm Sat and 3 pm Sunday. We will be hosting a private event on Saturday which will change our matinee time to 1 pm. British stockbroker Nicholas Winton (Academy Award winner Anthony Hopkins, and Johnny Flynn) visits Czechoslovakia in the 1930s and forms plans to assist in the rescue of Jewish children before the onset of World War II, in an operation that came to be known as the Kindertransport.

“Ruby U” this Thursday April 25 at 7 PM : “Scenic Art for Washington Theatres”. Wendy Rae Waszut-Barrett, PhD, an author, artist, and historian, specializing in painted illusions created for nineteenth-century and twentieth-century popular entertainment.
Wendy’s presentation will be about the people and the art behind the historic theatre curtains and scenery of the northwest. She will demonstrate why it is important that these stories and artifacts are saved for future generations. All Ruby U programs are free to the public.
Ruby U Coming Soon: “Nick on the Rocks” on Thursday, May 23 at 7 pm Nick Zentner, popular presenter of PBS show “Nick on the Rocks” will be here to delight us with his take on the geological wonders of our region.
