Ruby U: CTCR Wildlife Reintroductions and Management in North-Central Washington
On Thursday January 22, 2026 at 7 PM, Ruby U presents “CTCR Wildlife Reintroductions and Management in North-Central Washington”
This presentation will provide background information, reintroduction efforts, current status and ongoing management of Canada Lynx, Pronghorn, Columbian Sharp-tailed grouse and Bison.
Presenter Sam Rushing is the Omak-Nespelem District Wildlife Biologist covering the western half of the Colville Reservation as well as Chelan, Kittitas, Grant, Douglas and Lincoln Counties for off-reservation wildlife and land management activities. Sam has been a biologist with the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation since 2008 working directly with wildlife species and managing/restoring critical habitats for wildlife.
