The Ruby is proud to present ‘Maudie’ (PG-13) Sept. 22-26 Fri, Sat, Mon, Tues at 7PM and 3PM Sat. and Sun. Based on the true story of folk artist Maud Lewis who overcame rheumatoid arthritis to become one of the most revered folk painters in her country’s history. After taking a job in Nova Scotia as a housekeeper for a lifelong bachelor (Ethan Hawke), Lewis hones her painting skills while attracting national attention for her inspirational story. This film has already won 7 awards including the People’s Choice Awards! We hope you can join us for this very special showing.
